During our sessions, our focus will be on you and your one-of-a-kind journey. I’ll encourage you to share your perspective so we can explore areas where positive changes can take place. Together, we’ll harness your innate strengths to help you reconnect with that authentic sense of yourself once more!
I work with people striving for freer self-expression, stronger presence, deeper authenticity, and calmer responses. The individuals I see are often struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or life transitions. As an integrative therapist, we will work together to discover which therapeutic modalities work best for you — you are awesomely unique, so your therapy should be the same!
In individual counselling we will work one-on-one in developing a therapeutic modality that is suited to you and your needs! The modalities that I frequently use are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and a sprinkling of Somatic Therapy. Through these therapeutic modalities, we will work toward getting you to move toward your intentions with therapy. I will encourage regular check-ins on progress to be sure our time together is being well used.
Within my work in relationship counselling, I welcome those in relationships of all formations. Whether you and your loved one(s) are looking to process infidelity, introduce kink, transition to a new relationship structure, or to adopt healthier communication – I can help! I primarily use the Gottman Method as my approach to relationship counselling, along with Solution Focused Therapy to introduce effective and doable change into your relationship after the first session.

Absolutely! I think this is an essential part of finding the right counsellor for anybody. Like most counsellors out there, I offer a free phone consultation to discuss what you’re experiencing, and how I may be able to help. A consult also provides you the opportunity for you to ask any questions you have, and for us to get a better sense of one another. You can quickly and easily book a consult with me here.
Counselling looks different for everyone, but the first appointment, I will guide you. There is nothing you need to do to prepare for your first session aside from giving yourself ample time to arrive at the appointment, and at least 10 minutes to have a tea or go for a walk after the appointment.
Life happens! I get it!
If you know you won’t be able to make your appointment, please let me know as soon as you can. We can always switch to a video or phone appointment if that might work better for you. I have a 24 hour cancellation policy, meaning that there is the full session fee associated with any cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment start time.
In the unlikely event that I am legally required to break confidentiality would be if there is a high likelihood of imminent and grave harm to the client and/or a third-party, or when required to do so by law due to a subpoena. If any of these instances occur in our time together, we will work collaboratively to break confidentiality.

This may happen at some point, and that’s okay! I will not approach you or treat you as if we have any prior relationship. If you would like to say hello, I welcome that!
